안녕하세요, GMU 학생 여러분.

어제 학교 관계자에게 스팸 이메일이 발송된 사례가 발생하여 즉시 삭제 조치하였습니다.

그런데 오늘 일부 학생들께서도 개인 이메일 계정으로 동일한 유형의 스팸 메일을 받았다는 신고가 접수되었습니다.

아래에 첨부된 예시와 같은 이메일은 모두 스팸 메일이므로 절대로 열거나 링크를 클릭하지 마시고, 즉시 삭제해 주시기 바랍니다.

주의 사항

• 이메일에 포함된 링크를 클릭하지 마십시오.
• 첨부파일을 열지 마십시오.
• 개인정보나 비밀번호를 입력하지 마십시오.
• 즉시 삭제해 주시기 바랍니다.

아래에 해당 스팸 메일의 스크린샷을 첨부하오니 참고하시기 바랍니다.

We have recently confirmed several cases of spam emails being sent to members of our university community. Yesterday, a spam email was received by a university staff member and was immediately deleted. Today, we have also received reports that some students have received similar spam emails in their personal email accounts.

If you receive an email like the example shown below, please do NOT open it, click any links, or download any attachments. Delete it immediately.

Please follow these safety precautions:

• Do not click on any links in the email.
• Do not open any attachments.
• Do not provide your personal information or passwords.
• Delete the email immediately.

To protect your personal information and your university account, please remain vigilant and delete any suspicious emails immediately.
